I like to take the train to Venice from there, and then to Rome. I am wondering if I’ll have enough time to drive by Italian Riviera, stop for lunch, spend the night somewhere in Tuscany ( doesn’t have to be Florence) and then take a train from there the next day. Is this feasible?

I’m planningon travel from Rome to two or three cities by train, could I purchase them at the train station the day that I want to travel or do I have to purchase them in advance??
