Hi
I have obtained class C(short stay) Schengen visa for 18 days with mutliple entries. I was originally planning to only go to Germany.
However my hosts have suggested that we travel to Netherlands/Denmark or some other Schengen countries for a couple of days after I get to Germany.
Can I do that with my schengen visa? Or do I need to reapply?
Does it make a difference if I travel with train/plane?
Thanks

FYI: I called Netherlands Consulate Gerneral and they confirmed that I can use the schengen visa to travel to all schengen countries even though I had not originally mentioned that in my trip plans.
Response from Netherlands Consulate General in LA:

If you have a visa that is valid for the Schengen Area, you may use this visa to also visit the Netherlands within the validity of the visa.
