My family and I have a 20 hour layover in Milan 9/9-9/10. It’s my wife and I plus kids who are are 22, 17,16,15 and 8. We are looking for something fun to do and someplace to stay. We are on a tight budget and like doing “local” back door things.

My girlfriend and I want to visit Italy but only have 5 days. What is the best area or city to visit for short fun romantic getaway? We like excitement and beauty. Not interested in clubs or fancy resturants. Thanks for any input. Also recomendations on hotels would be appreciated.

It’s weird when I’m in Italy I always get mistaken for Italian. Last summer I travelled in Ireland & they thought I was Irish (I do have freckles 
)) .
I just moved to NYC and I get asked a lot if I am Jewish (by Jewish people). No one has ever asked me that before, also, why are they disappointed/
