If I am traveling to Europe in March, how soon should I get a passport, and whats the best way to get one?
I have never traveled outside the country, and my friend lives in Germany. I need to get a passport, and on the application, it asks for a time period. I have never done this before…
By the way, by “March”, I obviously mean March of 2007. Also, the application says to put in the date of travel (leaving US and coming back). I’m just going for one week…

Wine and gastronomy All year long, traditional Alsatian festivals and events represent opportunities to get together and enjoy culinary specialities and customs. Indeed, Christmas in Alsace would simply not be the same without the famous bredele, the Christmas cakes with countless shapes and flavours. More information : www.tourism-alsace.com
